The game of beat the ads

My team at Mosaic Group was consistently tasked with developing new creative to beat our existing, top-performing creative on Google.
We developed this set of ads for iTranslate, a language app that translates in a wide variety of real-time situations, to tell meaningful stories and showcase features with a limited production budget. Using the in-house motion designer (and his talent for animating/tweaking pre-drawn figures), we achieved a custom look, were able to break away from the previous formulaic ads and tell engaging stories.

The results proved the creative risks we took were worth it. The ad surpassed our previous video ads performance from May to September 2023 (when spend was put on pause). CPIs ranged between $0.75-$2.
